FRONT OF HOUSE - FULL TIME AND/OR PART TIME

Todper opened in 2011 and has been a leading coffee and brunch destination in Leeds ever since. We have just completed our second round of extension works thus increasing our customer capacity and kitchen size.

To coincide with this extension we are looking for a talented and passionate full time waiter/waitress to join us.

JOB DETAILS:

· Starting pay of £11.45 an hour. Healthy monthly tips paid on top of that rate.

THE APPLICANT:

- Have experience and knowledge of what constitutes customer service and satisfaction.

- We’d love for someone with a keen interest in the style of coffee and food we serve to join us, someone who would enjoy learning about the coffee world and be able to communicate what they know with an inquisitive customer. 

- We now serve into the evening 6 nights a week with a small drinks menu of wines, beers and coffee-centric cocktails. We would be asking you to do some evening shifts starting at 3pm or 4pm and finishing by 10pm. This would suit someone studying or with another part time job if they’re looking to fit shifts around that.

- Be able to provide excellent customer service in fast paced environment. Due to our location next to Leeds train station we have very busy periods of the day where efficiency is key. 

- Must ensure our company standards of service are met at all times, even at our most busiest.

- Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations would be an advantage though we will train in these areas.

Shifts: 8 hour day shifts and/or 6 hour evening shifts 2 or 5 times a week. Weekend availability required. 

Ability to commute to our city centre location found right next to leeds train station for early starts is essential.

BARISTA

FULL TIME &/OR PART TIME EXPERIENCED BARISTA ROLE

The role would include, but not be limited to:

  • Working the espresso machine

  • Showing an understanding of espresso brewing and drink preparation

  • Showing an understanding of filter brewing

  • Showing a top level of customer service

  • Being able to use an ipad based till system (square)

  • Being a key holder and opening/locking up

  • Being comfortable with handling any issues and challenges that may occur during a shift

  • Weekend availability required

  • - We now serve into the evening 6 nights a week with a small drinks menu of wines, beers and coffee-centric cocktails. We would be asking you to do some evening shifts starting at 3pm or 4pm and finishing by 10pm. This would suit someone studying or with another part time job if they’re looking to fit shifts around that.

Candidates would ideally have a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role 

Free staff meal and coffee on shift.

Shift will be 2 or 5 days over 7 days

DELIVERY DRIVER & BAKERY ASSISTANT

FULL TIME & PART TIME ROLE AVAILABLE

JOB DETAILS:

·Todper Bakery is the wholesale part of the Todper and is found on Armley Road near the city centre.

The bakery is run by a core team of 3 bakers and we're looking to add a motivated bakery assistant who'd like to join us and hopefully progress towards a more influential role in the near future.

- Assist the bakers in the preparation and production of bakery items, including pastries, and cakes and to help measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- to carry out short delivery runs (around 2 hours) in the company vehicle to help with the delivery to our wholesale customers
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and finish bakery items with icing, glaze, or toppings
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Valid drivers license required
- Knowledge of basic baking techniques and recipes
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
